The OBS/TS Joint Research Grant Committee (JRGC) is accepting applications until June 15 for its 2001 research grant. The grant was established to provide support necessary for technical services law librarians to perform research that will enhance law librarianship in service to our clients. Applicants must be members of AALL and must show evidence that the research will benefit technical services law librarianship.
The Committee has $1000 to be awarded each year. The OBS-SIS and TS-SIS each contributes $500 towards the grant. Previous grants have been awarded for research on Nevada practice materials and cataloging at Amazon.com. An application form and information about the grant guidelines are available at the OBS Web site (http://www.aallnet.org/sis/obssis/) and the TS Web site (http://www.aallnet.org/sis/tssis/tssis.htm).
