Report from AALL 2006 Meeting
 

The annual business meeting of the One Person Library group of the PLL-SIS was called to order at 5:15 p.m. in conjunction with the AALL meeting in St. Louis. Janice Leichter, chair, handed out copies of the annual report. Discussion included the possibility of presenting a program next year at the annual meeting in New Orleans. Several possible speakers were mentioned. Judith Siess, a member of the group, volunteered; other possibilities are any of the speakers at the fall educational program October 17th sponsored by the PLL –SIS or speakers suggested by librarians in New Orleans. Since members of this group, by virtue of the fact that they have minimal staff, are always pressed for time, focus on time management was suggested as a topic, with the working title “What has to be done first?”

Other discussion centered on sharing problems, and possible solutions, by individual members.

The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
