Bus Information and Revised Driving Directions
General & Bus Information
- Buses begin to depart at 6:00 pm from the Renaissance Grand, St. Charles entrance. They will loop from the hotel until 8:00pm.
- The reception starts at 6:30 pm in the Hadley-Griffin Student Commons with desserts in the Janite Lee Reading Room
- The awards ceremony starts at 7:30 pm in the Bryan-Cave Moot Court Room.
- The bulk of the buses will return to the Renaissance Grand at 8:30 pm with the last bus leaving at 9:30pm.
- Driving directions from the hotel:
Directions via the Surface Streets
- Recommended to avoid rush hour highway traffic
- Don't use Mapquest maps and/or directions! Mapquest takes you to an area under construction where the streets are closed (the entrance onto Forest Park Parkway from Market St. is currently closed).
- Start out going WEST on WASHINGTON AVE toward N 10TH ST. (Away from the River)
- Go about 3 miles and turn LEFT onto VANDEVENTER Ave.
- Go about 7 blocks and turn RIGHT on FOREST PARK AVE.
- As you approach the BJC HOSPITAL/WASH U MEDICAL SCHOOL, make sure that you are in the LEFT or CENTER LANES.
- Continue STRAIGHT AHEAD at EUCLID AVE. and go under the bridge to stay on FOREST PARK.
- Go about 2 miles and turn LEFT on SKINKER DRIVE
- Stay in right hand lane and make right at FORSYTH
- Take Forsythe about a mile and make right at Olympian Drive.
- Anheuser Busch Hall is immediately in front of you. Park in any yellow space.
Directions via the Highway
- Start out going WEST on WASHINGTON AVE toward N 10TH ST. (Away from the River)
- Turn LEFT onto N 10th ST.
- Continue STRAIGHT AHEAD, for several blocks
- ENTER I-64 / US-40 WEST via ramp at the end of S. 10TH ST., (JUST PAST the THOMAS F. EAGLETON U.S. COURT HOUSE).
- Take the CLAYTON RD / SKINKER BLVD exit- EXIT 34B.
- Turn RIGHT onto S SKINKER BLVD.
- Take SKINKER to FORSYTH make a left
- Take Forsyth about a mile and make right at Olympian Drive.
- Anheuser Busch Hall is immediately in front of you. Park in any yellow space.
