2014 DLC Meeting and FDL Conference
April 30 - May 2, 2014
Washington D.C.

The GD-SIS is offering grants to its members to attend the rescheduled 2014 DLC Meeting and FDL Conference, which is now set for April 30 - May 2, and will offer a variety of programming by the Federal Depository community, federal agency representatives, the Depository Library Council, and GPO.   GD-SIS members, or their documents support staff with a recommendation letter from a member, are eligible. 

Please download and complete the application  to Grants Committee Chair, Eric Young.  The application deadline is 6 P.M. (ET), Sunday, March 16, 2014.

2014 AALL Annual Conference
July 12-15, 2014
San Antonio, Texas

The GD-SIS awards two travel grants to members to attend the 2014 AALL Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas. The deadline for applications is April 13, 2014.

The requirements for members who receive the grants include the following:

1. Grant recipient must be a member in good standing of the GD-SIS

2. Grant recipient will write a newsletter article for JURISDOCS

Grant applicants should explain their need for the grant in their grant application

2014 AALL Leadership Academy
April 4-5, 2014
Oak Brook, Illinois

Congratulations to the librarians selected to participate in the AALL Leadership Academy!  In recognition and support of this activity, the Government Documents SIS is offering a partial grant to its members to attend.   Preference will be given to individuals who will not receive any support from their employing institution.   Application process now closed.
