Why advertise with the American Association of Law Libraries?
AALL's publications reach nearly 5,000 law librarians in law firms; bar associations; law schools; and federal, state, and local government libraries. AALL members are the decision makers on everything from licensing electronic information to managing print subscriptions to purchasing library supplies and services.
AALL Spectrum is the official monthly magazine of the American Association of Law Libraries and is a benefit of membership in the Association. AALL Spectrum publishes engaging and informative articles on topics of interest to law librarians and other legal information professionals, as well as news about Association and member activities. It appears nine times a year (no issues January, August, or September).
Law Library Journal is published quarterly: February, May, August, and November. The journal publishes articles on significant developments, trends, and other topics of interest to law librarians and those who work with legal materials. It also serves as the historical record of the profession through its inclusion of various statistical information and the AALL Annual Meeting proceedings. The journal is a benefit of membership in the Association and is also available through individual subscriptions.
The AALL E-newsletter goes out to the entire membership (nearly 5,000 law librarians) and mails the third Thursday of the month, with the exception of July, when it mails the fourth Thursday. The Annual Meeting Update e-Newsletter goes to AALL Annual Meeting & Conference attendees (about 2,000 law librarians) and mails the fourth Wednesday of the month, February-June. Both newsletters are valuable resources that are well-read by AALL members as they include brief news items and important reminders about upcoming events and deadlines that concern law librarians.
The AALL Annual Meeting Conference Program is printed and distributed to each of the nearly 2,000 Annual Meeting attendees onsite at the conference. The program features detailed descriptions of conference programs and events, as well as a lengthy Exhibitor Guide. Exhibitors who advertise in the Conference Program will receive a complimentary highlight and reference to their ads in the Exhibitor Guide.
Mailing Lists reinforce your advertising message through direct mail contact with the AALL membership. Target specific groups of members by library type, job position, or location to increase your results.
