Description:
Established by the State, Court, & County Law Libraries Special Interest Section (SCCLL-SIS), the award recognizes a member of SCCLL-SIS who has made a significant contribution to the profession through scholarly publication. Awarded every third year since 1993, priority for the Bolden award is given to works addressing the concerns of state, court, or county law librarians. The award is in honor of Connie E. Bolden, former Washington State Law Librarian, to commemorate his dedication as Law Library Journal editor from 1967 to 1977.
