Reference Librarian
 
The primary purpose of this position is to provide legal research instruction, training, and reference assistance to all law school library patrons.
 
Responsibilities:
Provide reference responses; create instructional materials for use in training all first year students to use instructional toolls; work closely with LRW Director to schedule Westlaw and Lexis training; participate in collection development; provide instructional legal research sessions to Law School faculty, staff, and students; prepare user guides, bibliographies and instructional materials as well as Newsletters; serve as a faculty liaison; assist with the preparation of the annual faculty bibliography; assist with the preparation of instructional material and participate in legal research instructional programs as requested.
 
Required:
J.D. from an accredited ABA institution and MLS from an ALA-accredited library school or information science program required.
 
Preferred:
Experience in law library preferred.
 
Salary and Benefits:
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
