Attendance is limited - be sure to register well in advance of the June 22 deadline!

Saturday, July 18 • 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Pennsylvania Convention Center

The Conference of Newer Law Librarians (CONELL) is held every year on the Saturday of the American Association of Law Libraries Annual Meeting and Conference. The purpose of CONELL is to welcome newer AALL members, introduce them to the Association and its leaders, and provide a setting to become acquainted with each other. Attendees will have an opportunity to talk with representatives from AALL's Committees and Special Interest Sections to find out firsthand how to get involved and maximize the benefits of Association membership.

CONELL attendees arriving on Friday, July 17, are invited to attend "Dutch Treat Dinners" at 6:30 p.m. that evening. The dinners are a great way for attendees to meet each other and members of the CONELL Committee. Saturday's events start with a continental breakfast at 8:00 a.m., with the conference beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m. Attendees will meet the AALL Executive Board, participate in Speed Networking, and visit the Marketplace. Later that day, lunch will be followed by speakers and additional opportunities to network with colleagues.

Preregistration required: $125 - June 22 deadline

"CONELL was the first program I attended at the Annual Meeting and probably the program I have found most rewarding and vital to my career. I am still good friends with a number of people from the 2003 Seattle edition of CONELL. I also use many of the tips and skills I learned there on a regular basis. While I know the shortened Annual Meeting is packed with things to do, I think CONELL should be an essential program for every first-time attendee."
