PROFESSIONAL GUIDANCE FOR LAW LIBRARIANS
AALL MENTORING COMMITTEE
Even seasoned law librarians occasionally need professional advice and direction. The AALL Mentoring Committee has assembled a pool of experienced law librarian 'experts' who will provide professional guidance to AALL members.
To obtain guidance on a law library issue that concerns you, complete the form below. A Mentoring Committee member will receive your request by email and will route it to an appropriate expert who will respond to your submission as soon as possible, usually within a week. Participating experts and Mentoring Committee members have signed agreements requiring them to keep your request confidential unless you expressly waive confidentiality.
You can specify preferred characteristics of the expert. You can also specify characteristics that you prefer that the expert not possess, such as your geographic area. Keep in mind that the pool of experts is limited in number and may not contain experts with or without all of the characteristics you desire.
If you have a question about this service, send your question to Katie Leonard, a member of the Mentoring Committee, at katie.leonard@thomson.com.
