Executive Board Strategic Planning Committee


Charge and Size

The Executive Board Strategic Planning Committee monitors the current Strategic Plan and prepares recommendations for later consideration by the Finance and Budget Committee and the Executive Board. The Committee recommends timetables for further work and communicates with members on a regular basis about the progress of the Plan's initiatives and solicits proposals for new ones. Additional roles are to set priorities for use of the Current Reserve Funds and prepare fiscal year budget guidelines.

Size: The Strategic Planning Committee is a Board committee chaired by an officer or an Executive Board member appointed by the President. The committee also includes the President, Vice-President/President Elect, Treasurer and at least, but not limited to, two other Board members. The term of service on the committee is one year. At the discretion of the Executive Director, the Executive Director and Director of Programs serve as liaisons to this committee.
