Acquisitions Librarian, San Diego County Public Law Library, San Diego

The San Diego County Public Law Library is looking for an Acquisitions Librarian to manage all aspects of acquiring information in a variety of formats. The Acquisitions Librarian manages workflow, develops efficient processes, and contributes to the development of policies and procedures within Technical Services. He/she works closely with the cataloging, collection development groups and vendors; manages the bill payment process; maintains data integrity in the Millennium system; develops and implements projects to improve service; creates and maintains statistics reports. Innovation, communication skills, and team building skills are essential. MLS or significant library experience required. Experience in acquiring legal materials and in using the Millennium system is preferred.
