Job Description

Ogletree Deakins is seeking an experienced law librarian to join our Los Angeles office, to support our California attorneys and to work collaboratively with the Firm Library team located in other offices across the firm. This newly created position could be located in Los Angeles or in our San Francisco office.

The successful candidate will:

• Perform legal and business research using print and electronic resources, including specialized research focusing on labor and employment law, industry and labor climate
  
• Evaluate research results and create custom reports
  
• Train attorneys and staff in use of library resources
  
• Collaborate with the Reference Team on research projects, product evaluations, and other initiatives
  
• Pursue research and administrative projects which further the goals of the library department or firm

Requirements

MLS and previous law firm library experience required, as well as demonstrated communication skills, professionalism and commitment to excellence.
