LAC seeks for immediate consideration an experienced Legal Reference Librarian for a temporary position in a law firm in West Los Angeles, CA. Several of the firm’s lawyers have been named on the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal's top 100 lawyers in California in the last two years. The Librarian must have at least 7 years of law library reference experience and will be providing reference and research support to attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff at the firm.

Qualifications:

• Masters in Library Science or JD or equivalent experience including a minimum of 7 years of law library reference experience, required.
  
• Strong focus on client service.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• Ability to work in a team environment.
  
• Experience using LexisNexis and Westlaw, CourtExpress, Courtlink, PACER, LivEDGAR, Checkcite, RLIN, Bender.com, Choicepoint, CCH Research Network, and RIA Checkpoint.
  
• Familiarity with online patent research and retrieval services, such as Delphion, Reedfax and Micropatent, preferred.
