Law Librarian Professional
Library Associates

Library Associates Companies (LAC) seeks a Law Librarian Professional to work for a California law firm which serves the needs of both the private and public sectors. This position can work from either the firm’s Irvine or Downtown Los Angeles offices in California and will be in charge of covering the library services for both offices. This is a newly created position looking for an outgoing self-starter, so please apply and make your mark at this wonderful firm!

Responsibilities:

  • Daily library maintenance tasks;
  • Reference assistance to legal and non-legal staff;
  • Research and retrieve documents from local libraries;
  • Perform additional duties as needed or requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or minimum three years of law library experience;
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational and communication skills;
  • Strong customer service orientation;
  • Capable of working efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment;
  • A motivated individual with demonstrated ability to work independently and perform other duties and responsibilities in a branch office environment;
  • Proficient in electronic applications including Lexis, Westlaw, Excel and Word;
  • Web-based catalog experience a plus;
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
