The President’s Council on Bioethics

The Presidential Council was created to study and advise
the President on specific areas of concern, including cloning, stem cell
research, drugs, sex selection and research ethics. This page hosts background
information on the Council’s areas of investigation, council documents,
and its executive authorization. Information provided includes articles,
working and background papers, transcripts of council sessions, and agendas
of past meetings. Other information includes suggested reading material
and links to other bioethical commissions.

Bioethics Committee (IBC) and the Intergovernmental Bioethics Committee
