- Serves as a member of the board of directors and participates in its
discussions and deliberations.
- Attends all chapter membership and board of directors meetings.
- Serves in an advisory capacity to the president and the chapter officers
to provide the benefit of experience as chapter president.
- Provides appropriate assistance to the incoming president to ensure
a smooth transition of power and an effective continuation of chapter
activities.
- Undertakes specific tasks as requested by the president.
