The Westminster Law Library was the host of the first Teaching Research in Academic Law Libraries (TRIALL) workshop held in Colorado. Seventeen librarians from the University of Denver and the University of Colorado attended the workshop on April 18, 1999. The workshop, sponsored by Lexis-Nexis, was a spin-off of the national TRIALL conference held last year in Anaheim as part of the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Law Libraries. Participants discussed strategies for improving their teaching skills. Topics covered assessing user needs, developing a curriculum, creating innovative research assignments and presentation skills.
