This year the CoALL Grants and Scholarships Guidelines and Application Procedures were placed on the CoALL Website thanks to webmaster Tamara Smith. An e-mail message was posted on the CoALL listserv in the spring of 1999 to encourage CoALL members to apply for grants and scholarships. Four applications were received in the spring of 1999. One application was withdrawn.
Grants awarded in 1998-99 were:
$213 to Martha Campbell to attend SWALL in Houston, April 1998
$250 to Rob Richards to attend AALL in Anaheim, July 1998
$311 to Mary Williams for travel to AALL in Anaheim, July 1998
$282 to Camilla Walker for travel to the Information Innovator's Institute in San Diego, March 1999
$100 to Druet Klugh to attend SLA in Minneapolis, June 1999
