Recently, I had the pleasure of interviewing Mr. Paul Sharpe.
Paul started in January as the new "Access Services Coordinator" at the Westminster Law Library at the University of Denver Law School.
In this position he supervises all the Circulation, Inter-Library Loan and Shelving activities. But, I would like to quote what he actually said to me about his position: "I am here to keep folks happy."
He hails from Lewistown, Missouri, not far from Hannibal, boyhood home of Mark Twain. Lewistown is in the Tri-State area where Iowa, Illinois and Missouri all meet.
Paul graduated from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO where he received his degree in Speech and Theatre Education. (Maybe COALL should have him star and produce a "Scuttle Show.")
Paul and his family moved to Colorado in 1992. Besides working and being a dad, he is a student in the M.L.S. Program at D.U. and will be graduating with the class of 2001.
Presently, he is the Vice-President of the Library Information Services Association (a student organization of the M.L.S. program) and he will become President this August.
Once again, on behalf of COALL, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Paul Sharpe to our law library community. We all wish him continued success and congratulations on his upcoming graduation from the M.L.S. program next year.
