Thyria Wilson got a new job at the Center for Judaic Studies, University of Denver. She will be working primarily with the archives collection, but will also do some reference work.

Tamara Smith is on the Nominations committee of the RIPS SIS of AALL.

The University of Denver Law Library participated in the Alternative Careers Fair at the DU College of Law on January 26, 2000. They had a display on career in law librarianship and gave out information on scholarships and placement opportunities as well as the AALL recruitment brochure "Finding Your Way in the Information Age".

Tom Seward will be doing a library school practicum in the Reference Department this quarter. Some of you may already know Tom from his work at Sherman & Howard or from DU classes, but if not, then please take the opportunity to introduce yourself to him. He will be working in the evenings and on Sundays through March.
