Electronic Discovery
Rachel Fisher, Kilpatrick Stockton
Electronic discovery, or electronic evidence is basically the process of securing or producing electronic documents like word processing files, emails, other electronic records, and the like. Electronic evidence and electronic discovery is clearly a topic that will have a major impact on the future practice of law, as standards for obtaining, managing, and using information gathered through this process continue to be established.

The technology world is ever-evolving. As a result, a good bit of quality information about electronic discovery can be found on the web. This page provides a summary of links to sources containing information on the law of electronic discovery.

Troutman Librarians Acknowledged in Publication
Troutman Sanders' research services manager Billy Ellis and research librarian Kreig Kitts were acknowledged in the recently published Georgia Administrative Law Digest of Environmental Decisions, published by LexisNexis. The digest was edited by Troutman attorneys Douglas A. Henderson and Amanda C. Baxter. Kreig and Billy reviewed and edited citations from earlier editions of the digest, as well as drafts of the current digest, to ensure citation accuracy and consistency. In the words of the editors, they "improved our product immeasurably."
