Richard Susskind will serve as keynote speaker at the
Opening General Session on Sunday, July 22, during the
2012 AALL Annual Meeting in Boston.
Susskind is a respected lawyer, technologist, author, and speaker. His work examines how technology will change the legal profession, challenging trends in the legal marketplace, and new techniques and technologies for the delivery of legal services. His insights into the legal profession have influenced a generation of lawyers from around the world. He is an independent adviser to major professional firms and national governments. He has written and edited numerous books, including
The End of Lawyers? Rethinking the Nature of Legal Services, and has written more than 100 columns for
The Times. Most recently, he is interviewed in an article entitled
"The Strategy Game."
