Jeffrey Sabol is an Electronic Services/Student Support Librarian at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, CA and recently joined AALL. He earned his MLS from San Jose State University in 2011.
Why did you join AALL?
To learn and grow in the law librarianship field and to be exposed to professional law librarians knowledge and expertise.
Why do you stay a member?
To continue to learn and discover different aspects of law librarianship.
What one membership benefit is most valuable to you?
That I was able to attend CONELL and meet other newly minted librarians.
What is your favorite memory associated with AALL?
The awesome time I had in Boston, my first AALL Conference.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Sailing, fishing, gardening and of course reading.
What book(s) are you currently reading?
Girl With Curious Hair
by David Foster Wallace (fiction) and The Information: A history, a theory, a flood
by James Gleick (nonfiction).
What’s your favorite travel/vacation destination?
I love traveling to Baja California. The last two winters I have driven down to the small charming town of Pescadero which is just outside Todas Santos and about two hours from Cabo San Lucas and has spectacularly beautiful beaches and great weather year round.
